The Art School is the student union for The Glasgow School of Art, which functions as a venue for both GSA student events and events for the general public. The main room, known as The Assembly Hall, is upstairs, with the ground floor Vic Bar as a secondary venue space, and other multipurpose rooms on the second floor that can function as standalone project spaces, additional green rooms, or additional small rooms for large club nights.

There is a lift between every floor in the venue. The floor layout is as follows:

The building has an accessible toilet, as well as one block of gender neutral toilets with cubicles, and one block of gender neutral toilets with cubicles and urinals.
