SWG3 Warehouse

Name The Warehouse
Part of SWG3
Capacity 500
Function Gigs, Clubs, Weddings, Events, Bar
Website https://swg3.tv/explore/venue-hire-spaces/swg3-warehouse/

The Warehouse is a 500 capacity venue within SWG3, with dedicated toilets, coat check, bar, and merch area. Of the SWG3 venues, it is larger than The Poetry Club, but smaller than The TV Studio or Galvanizers.

The Warehouse can function as a standard venue for gigs or club events, or as an additional bar and/or chill out space for larger/multi-room events happening at SWG3.

Accessibility[edit | edit source]

Step-Free Access[edit | edit source]

Access to the warehouse is via a flight of stairs. There is a freight lift suitable for human passengers, however it is typically staff only and is not accessible to the general public without the permission of a member of staff.

Toilets[edit | edit source]

By default, there are gendered male and female toilets attached to this venue. For some events, these are re-labeled to be neutral, however it is unclear whether the changing laws relating to this will have an impact in the near future.

There is a wheelchair accessible toilet behind the same set of doors as the lift. A key card is required to open these doors; this bathroom is not usually available to the public.

Sound and Lighting[edit | edit source]

As with most venues, when The Warehouse is used for gigs or clubs, volumes at which hearing protection is required will usually be reached, depending on the genre of music.

Many events in The Warehouse employ haze, fog, and strobe lighting. During some events light levels may be quite low, however it is rare for the venue to achieve full blackout.
